Twitter、Facebook、Friendfeed/Google Buzz 任何一个单独拿出来都不能算是social network，那么聚合了以上服务的Pip.io算是真正的社交网络了吧…

目前墙内可用，免翻墙发推利器，自带翻译，可以上传图片、视频…

Getting started

You need 2 things in order to experience Pip.io

  • Friends – Pip.io is not something you test by yourself. It is a necessity to populate your network. So scan your address book and add some friends, or tweet a link to your profile.
  • An open mind to a brand new interface – The user interface (UI) is like nothing I’ve ever seen in a social network. It’s strangely very thoughtful and intuitive but also very new. You will soon forget you are in a web browser and that is about the best compliment I can give to a web platform. It will seem unfamiliar but it will grow on you quickly.

Lastly, add the Facebook and Twitter apps. It has Twitter lists and saved searches support and it may become my new Facebook interface. It’s a very elegant design.

Takeaways

I’m not sure where Pip.io is headed but they are off to a great start. If they continue to focus on connecting people and providing a conversation platform I can see this become a very active network in my life.

I feel like shouting from the roof tops… a Social Network for People.
